Having trained as a musician, I now divide my time between photography and music and continue to find connections across both mediums of self expression every day. I believe that these means of communication are intrinsically linked, and my approach to both is similar - always striving for honesty and vulnerability. I hope that when I photograph someone I bring out their true character, and that they see themselves captured as they exist during that moment in time.

My personal photographic work explores ideas surrounding identity, emotion and the universal ties that the human condition brings, as well as examining the role that we play in the changing environment. Through use of symbolism, colour and composition I intend to convey links and layers of meaning, which are open to interpretation by each viewer.

I regularly shoot portraits, fashion, album covers and promotional material for musicians, artists and other creatives, whilst working on my own photographic projects and performing/recording as a violinist.
